更新後出現了一些問題，Firefox 或許漸漸打出知名度的關係，發展人員開始失去原先的理想，程式開始肥大，效能不佳的老問題更加嚴重，遇上 AJAX 的網頁，那只能求老天爺，給你一個好運氣。AJAX 不是當今的主流態勢嗎？唉！

之前在 Fixed in Firefox 2.0.0.7 一文中提到的Firefox 啟動失敗的問題再度降臨，原來所謂的 BUG fix 就是這樣啊！

2007-11-13 update:
升級到 2.0.0.9 後，啟動失敗問題更加嚴重，目前比較可行的辦法是進到安全模式中將 cache 清除，重新啟動 Firefox 就可以正常，看來得設定成關閉 Firefox 前清除 cache 了，唉！cache 的問題將會是 Firefox 短期內無解決的夢魘，畢竟這個問題已經存在好久了，從有人反應，到目前好幾個版本的更新，問題依舊在，何時能有效解決，沒人敢包證。

2007-11-13 update:
另一部電腦上的 Firefox 出現了滑鼠減速的問題，同樣是個老問題，先前的版本也曾出現過，這個版本把 Firefox 修得七零八落的，也許用 IE 7 是個不錯的選項。

Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Support:

Firefox 2.0.0.8 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5, although there are some known issues affecting some media plugins.

New Languages:

Official releases for Georgian (ka) and Romanian (ro) are now available. Beta release for Kurdish (ku) is also available for testing.

2007-09-22 Update:
更新後出現三個問題，每次電腦重開機後，Firefox 啟動一定失敗，都要再重開一次 Firefox 才能正常運作，原因為何尚無法得知。
另一個問題則是 Firefox 的未知漏洞可能又被發現了，在某些網站中會導致滑鼠運作反應速度變慢，關閉 Firefox 後則正常。第三個問題則是以往很少出現的「連線重設」情況很嚴重，既使是知名網站都會看見這個問題頻繁出現，動不動就會看到「與伺服器的連線被重設」(訊息大意是如此)。
